Alumni History
USM Alumni Association (USMAA)
The USM Alumni Association (USMAA) was incorporated on April 6th, 1964, prior to the merger of Milwaukee Country Day, Milwaukee University School, and Milwaukee Downer Seminary. William L. Randall, MUS '48, served as the Association's first president. In the first issue of Alumni News, an early publication of the USMAA, Randall wrote,
"In the months and years ahead the officers and directors of your Alumni Association will need your assistance and participation in the maintenance of some of the memorable traditions of the past and in the development of a loyal responsibility to our school in the future. We ask for your support and for your comments and suggestions concerning ways in which the Alumni Association may serve you and the school."
All alumni of Milwaukee Country Day, Milwaukee University School, Milwaukee Downer Seminary, and University School of Milwaukee are considered members of the USMAA. The Association is managed by a 21-member Board of Directors. Each Director serves one (1) three-year term.
